The 2018-19 ski season is officially launched at Sommet Saint-Sauveur

Sommet Saint-Sauveur is proud to announce its official launch of the 2018-2019 ski season, today Friday October 26th, 2018! Sommet Saint-Sauveur continues its long tradition of being the first ski hill to open in Quebec. These past few days have brought cooler temperatures and have enabled the snowmaking team to produce as much snow as possible for this much-awaited opening.

Serviced by the chairlift L'Étoile, the slope 70 is now covered in snow, allowing skiers and snowboarders to make their first turns of the season. The schedule for the first days' operations will be as follows:

  • Friday October 26th, from 2pm to 8pm*
  • Saturday October 27th from 10 am to 9 pm*
  • Sunday October 28th, from 9 am to 5 pm*
* Schedule is subject to change without prior notice

As the ski season finally takes off, the management team at Sommet Saint-Sauveur ensures that snow making will continue covering the slopes (in accordance with weather conditions) so as to expand the skiable domain in the course of the following days. Moreover, the addition of 48 new snow guns in the Red Bird slope will allow a quicker opening to a more accessible and diversified a ski area.

Finally, Sommet Saint-Sauveur recommends visiting its website of its official Facebook page to stay up to date about snow conditions, the number of slopes open, the events calendar, ski school programs and lessons as well as daily rates, all of which is updated rigorously on a daily basis.

We wish you all a great ski season and look forward to see you on the hill!
